Welcome to 2023's New Tennis Squad

FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL SERIES OF TENNIS SKILLS THIS AUTUMN, THE FOUNDATION’S TENNIS OUTREACH PROGRAMME IS DELIGHTED TO WELCOME A NEW SQUAD OF 8 LOCAL SCHOOL CHILDREN.

After the Wentworth Tennis team visited four local state schools in June and July seeing around 200 children, we had our scholarship trials on September 9th.   35 children attended and once again the standard was extremely high with 8 youngsters selected to join the Club as Foundation Scholars for 2023-2025.

Our new Scholars will receive weekly group lessons and will have the opportunity to compete in tournaments and Club Team competitions throughout the year.   We look forward to championing this year’s group of youngsters as we watch them develop their skills both on and off the courts and are excited to see what the future holds for them.
