SUCCESS IN THE SUMMER
CONGRATULATIONS TO AMELIA VAN DE MORTEL ON A FABULOUS SUMMER SEASON.
Over the summer, Scholar Amelia Van De Mortel has competed in a variety of Wentworth Club Junior Competitions. Starting off with Junior Medal on the 6thAugust, where Amelia took to the Edinburgh Course and shot a fabulous net 67 (-5) to start the winning streak.
More recently winning back to back Junior competitions, starting with the Junior Bernerd Trophy where Amelia shot a fantastic 40 points, winning on countback, to raise the trophy. The success did not stop there, two days later Amelia took to the East Course where her putts continued to drop as she finished with another incredible score of 43 points, putting her at the top of the leaderboard once again!
Away from the on Course success the true highlight has been the significant drop in Amelias handicap. Starting the year playing off 23.4 and now, after a vast amount of hard work and on Course success, Amelia is now playing off 11.4.
