Junior Club Championship at Wentworth Club

Huge Congratulations to 16-year-old Ava Bates who is Wentworth Club’s new Junior Club Champion!

Ava shot an impressive round of 72 on the Edinburgh Course, followed by a 73 on the West Course to win by 7 shots.

Fittingly this impressive win took place during Women & Girls in Golf Week, a week where Wentworth Club had been championing the achievements of women in golf and it just so happened that Ava became Wentworth’s first-ever female Junior Club Championship winner.
